Photoshop Lab 1 - Selection tools

One of the most important concepts in Adobe Photoshop is Selection.

Relevant Adobe Photoshop tools had use:

• Ellipse Selection Tool 
• Magic Wand 
• Under quick selection tool

Firstly, we use and open the file Lab1_selestion.psd. as a material practice.

Next, to progress the selection, we use quick selection tools in the left hand side toolbar Under quick selection tool, apply in the image of tomato and use ALT enlarge and fit the circle of the tomato.

Move the images of tomato or you can also press the ALT button to duplicate the images in the other places you wish to put.

Choose Elliptical Marque Tool under the toolbar. Then adjust the picture of That tools might use SHIFHT button or ALT button + left button on mouse and move to enlarge the circle and to fit the circle of images.So i choose the most circle picture to make the selection tool more efficiency. 

 

After then we try and choose Magic Wand Tool under the toolbar. The differences between Quick selection tool is it can adjust the tolerance range, can select the area with more exquisite. 

i have done some differences between Quick selection and Magic wand tools. the reason i choose picture of carrot and capsicum of vegetables is because both of them have background, is not like other is white color.

this is done by Magic wand with same range of tolerance (55), you can see it selected the background of carrot, it is no so nice selection.

this is done by the Quick selection, there some edge is no so smoothy and nicely.

after then, i combined two tools and get the exquisite result. i am using quick selection in big area and use different range of tolerance of Magic wand.

we can see, it does not have the background any more, and the carrot is more real and good edge.

Lastly, i move all the vegetable which are selected to green color board on the left hand side paper. After then, i apply and point the line by the vegetables on the green color board and move to the new page of T1 _A1.
